A total of 78.6 lbs. of drugs were collected and disposed of by the Willimantic Police Department. WILI Radio Station volunteered with the Windham PRIDE Coalition and had a tent set up where they played music and ran pre-recorded ads inviting people to come down to Jillson Square to dispose of their unused and unwanted medications. Also taking place at Jillson Square on Saturday was the Take Time to Play family event sponsored by the Windham Task Force for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. Between both events 64 medication lock boxes, along with Change the Script hand sanitizers & face masks & medication bottle with cap timers, deterra pouches and liquor stickers were handed out.

Prevention coloring books, resource information and other materials were also distributed. They were able to utilize items and materials onated to through the North Central District Community Health Department, SERAC and through SOR grant funding (SERAC). WILI Radio Station matched PSA ads with additional air time. Thank you Windham Pride for all of the great prevention work!
