2023 Windham PRIDE/Willimantic Police Scholarship Program
The Town of Windham is pleased to announce the 2023 Windham PRIDE/Willimantic Police Scholarship Program. This program is made possible through a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s Office of the Arts. Eligible applicants include students who have participated in any one of the Windham PRIDE, Willimantic Police/PRIDE Youth Leadership or Willimantic Fire Department Emergency Medical Training Programs.
We will be awarding scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to qualified students pursuing higher education in the 2023 academic year or currently enrolled in higher education. Applicants should be able to describe their interest or experience(s) in one or more of the following categories: youth leadership, substance misuse prevention, health care, emergency medical services, criminal justice, social services, civic engagement.
